So it is the New Year, I hope you are all ready for this New Year? I'm semi-ready because life is just so full of surprises. What 2017 will be for me? I guess we will see. 

Lets not forget to set goals anyway. The meaning behind New Year resolutions I believe is to set a meaningful fresh start, even though we need to take everyday as another chance to start fresh again.

The Gratitude Jar / New Year Tradition

Last year I came across the gratitude jar. For the next year everyday you write down something you are grateful for (anything) and put it in a jar, and at the end of the year open it and read them.

I thought it is a really good idea and it will make a wonderful tradition for my little family.

Where to start? I was so so excited about these nails... and the reactions everybody get when the powder turns into mirror ...I had the same ...the excitement is real. You need to get it too.

Ok for those who do not know what I'm talking about, it is a powder, which you apply on top of your nail color and you get a mirror finish. I took a whole day to research on this

Felt sheets christmas tree ornaments

It is the Christmas season...the lights, the beautiful ornaments, the hot drinks and foods...also the freezing weather, the snow, family ...so many things to be excited for.

One of them is the Christmas tree. So I though I will do a DIY Christmas tree decoration.  And I decided to make felt sheets ornaments.

I’m dying to have a beauty advent calendar! And it's December soon. I have never had one and I do not want a chocolate advent calendar. The beauty calendar sounds much more interesting and exciting especially that I don’t have many beauty products, well kind of (you never have too much of these stuffs :)). Also I hate spending money on beauty products

Before starting this blog I had so many ideas and as soon as I started, I quickly realised How difficult it is to be transparent on the Internet...this has forced me to eliminate so many subjects and rewriting my posts many times. Not that I’m not transparent but I’m trying not to put everything out there and also be kind of neutral

how to make your own chokers

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I hate buying chokers. Simply, because I can make them myself (not all of them are easy to make, this is why sometimes I buy them) 

I was so proud of my first attempt! But the hook was silver plated and it ends up corroded. Also, often I will have the jump ring loose and everything fall, but I still like it.

This time around the statement necklaces are what you see almost everywhere, especially velvet chokers. So finally I’m making my own and I thought I would try with buttons as well to see! And guess what? I’m taking you with me :)

Hello friends! So today I thought we would talk about hair! I usually get questions on how I define my curls and from the time I have started wearing my curly hair to now, my routine has changed. Kiss chase/ new nail care routine

In my last post you can notice that I need to care more for my nails. So I decided to go back to an advice a nail artist once gave me! Always moisturise your nails and cuticles and wear base coat. But to be honest the number one resolution I need to take is to wear gloves when I’m washing the dishes. I thought I would share my new routine with you, it will be my way of accountability and we could also see if it works. Lets do it together, if you are interested :)

DIY decorate your picture frame

I have so many pictures and none of them is on our wall!

I couldn't decide on the frame I want and also we can't make holes in our walls (they are not real if you know what I mean :)

 So finally I decided to get frames

At many occasions I saw negative comments on mothers who have babies and make the time for themselves.

Well they are probably unhappy people, jealous or they don't know what it is to be a mum.

But obviously there has to be a limit because our kids need us.

It's looking more like autumn!

It feels more like autumn when you see all these beautiful dead leaves all over! It's also feels more as autumn when the cold is getting real but we don't pay attention and keep dressing more like ‘autumn slash summer’! 

This look shows it all! The leaves, the colors, the cold weather, which we are all excited about, and the summer feel, which we don't want to let go!

When entering a new year we always make good plans and we say to ourselves "this New Year will be my year"

And after, we find ourselves at the end of the year planning again and this time with more or less motivation and the cycle goes on!

As the title states it, the year is not over yet, so all the goals you have plan, you can still make them happen. These last two months should be your motivation to do so!

A couple of months ago, exactly on my baby’s first birthday, I did this, do it yourself clay handprint as a souvenir of his tiny hands! 

When I was pregnant, me and my husband were excited about everything baby
(it’s our first baby and this is acceptable :))...but we didn't have time to make most stuff happened because of the lack of finance or time and so we classified some stuff as unnecessary.
